Yablonsky's bathroom was converted into the TOILET PAPER LOUNGE for one day only, complete with a champagne filled bathtub, and plenty of TOILET PAPER. Magazines that is. Some of the most notable names in the art and fashion worlds convened on Yablonsky's 2-floor walk up, including Yvonne Force, Lisa Phillips, Stefano Tonchi, Princess Elisabeth von Thurn und Taxis, Marilyn Minter, Jack Pierson, Jeanne Greenberg Rohaytn, Mark Holgate, Roberta Smith, Lynn Yaeger, Nate Lowman, Charles Renfro, Anne Kennedy, and Massimiliano Gioni to name just a few. But it was the cake that stole the spotlight... Created by Kreëmart's Raphael Castoriano, it resembled a roll of toilet paper mounted on porcelain bathroom tiles but was in fact all edible and incredibly delicious. |
