Announcing Artbook International Book Distribution

Artbook | D.A.P. is pleased to announce a new global sales and distribution program whose partnerships will further expand D.A.P. sales to independent bookstores, chain stores, specialty stores, wholesalers and libraries in the UK, Ireland, Eastern and Western Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia and Latin America.

Announcing Artbook International Book Distribution
Effective March 1, 2019, Artbook | D.A.P. titles will be distributed in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe by Marston Book Services, an independent book fulfillment service and warehouse based in Oxfordshire, England, one hour north of London. With 45,000 customers in more than 200 countries and a staff of 150, Marston is one of the largest independent distributors in the region, fulfilling a large cross-section of books, journals and electronic products from a range of notable publishers including Rizzoli, Verso Books and Assouline. Marston has an extensive reach into trade, internet and academic bookstores, museum shops, gift stores, and the educational and professional markets.

Artbook | D.A.P. titles are now available in the UK and throughout Europe via Nielsen BookData, the region's exclusive title database search engine. Through Nielsen BookData, booksellers and librarians can easily search Artbook | D.A.P. bibliographic data and order books electronically.

SALES REPRESENTATIVES
United Kingdom
Artbook | D.A.P. has restructured its sales and marketing representation in the UK. Effective March 1, 2019, Yale Representation Limited, a division of Yale University Press, will represent Artbook | D.A.P. titles to the book trade in the United Kingdom. Yale has 7 book representatives located throughout the region. Key Artbook | D.A.P. backlist titles and new releases can be found on their home page: www.yalerep.co.uk. In addition to Artbook | D.A.P., Yale represents Yale University Press, Lund Humphries, Verso Books, Reaktion Books and University of Chicago Press, among others.

Ireland
Dublin-based book representative John Fitzpatrick now represents Artbook | D.A.P. in Ireland. In addition to Artbook | D.A.P., he represents Princeton Architectural Press, Chronicle, Turnaround Distribution, Abrams, Laurence King and Quarto, among others.

France
In France, Artbook | D.A.P. titles are now represented by Paris-based Interart, the country’s pre-eminent distributor of visual books. In addition to Artbook | D.A.P., Interart represents Steidl, ACC, Mack Books, Aperture and The Museum of Modern Art, among others. Interart has a team of 5 representatives who service more than 450 customers in Paris, in addition to 50 provincial towns and cities in France and French-speaking Belgium. French booksellers can order Artbook | D.A.P. titles distributed by Interart through the Dilicom book database. Additionally, Interart’s website, www.interart.fr, will promote new Artbook | D.A.P. titles.

Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg
In Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg, Artbook | D.A.P. is now represented by Frankfurt-based Gabriele Kern of P.S. Publishers’ Services. Kern is one of the region’s most highly regarded independent book reps. Along with Artbook | D.A.P., she represents Abrams, Chronicle, Mack Books, Merrell and Quarto, among others.

Scandinavia, Estonia, South Africa
Recently founded by Copenhagen-based Katja Bremer, Bremer Publishing Services now represents Artbook | D.A.P. in the Scandinavian countries of Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark, as well as Estonia and South Africa. Bremer was a bookseller and book representative for Phaidon and Taschen before starting her independent book representation agency. With a background and expertise in art and illustrated books, she is well-suited to represent Artbook | D.A.P. in these regions.

Spain, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Greece
Freelance book representation agency Padovani Books now represents Artbook | D.A.P. in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus, Gibraltar and Greece. Established in 1992, this mother-and-daughter team represents a wide array of publishers specializing in art, architecture, decorative arts, children's books and literature. Fluent in the full range of languages spoken in their territories, Padovani Books is known for its direct and personal relationships customers, including non-bookshop outlets in addition to the usual trade bookstores and museums.
