Join us Friday, February 14, from 4:30–6:30 PM for an event with members of New York–based activist artist collective Gran Fury, centered around the forthcoming title Gran Fury: Art Is Not Enough, published to accompany the February exhibition at MASP. In this discussion of Gran Fury, the activist art collective known for their impactful work during the AIDS crisis in the late 1980s and early 1990s, panelists will describe how they used graphic design and public art to address social issues, focusing on projects like the "Kissing Doesn't Kill" campaign, and their influence today.
