The celebrated Dutch architectural photographer Iwan Baan (born 1975) has dedicated his career to capturing the stories told by buildings. This publication compiles his series on Willem Marinus Dudok (1884–1974), known as the father of Dutch modernism. Decades after their construction, Dudok’s designs remain keenly relevant for their exceptional spatial sensitivity.
