| | | Sylvester & Co. In 2005 Lynda Sylvester stood in front of 154 Main Street in Amagansett, New York, and fell in love with the eighteenth-century Victorian farmhouse. The dream was to create a new kind of home furnishings store which would present a distinctive point of view drawing from a longtime passion for the arts. A home store that would integrate an art gallery, interior and product design, as well as a genuine art library.
At Home is a sibling store to the 26-year-old Hampton mainstay, Sylvester & Co. Modern General in Sag Harbor, New York. Another Sylvester & Co. Modern General is located in Savannah, Georgia.
At all three locations, Sylvester & Co. features an ARTBOOK section offering an expanded selection of art monographs, exhibition catalogs, photobooks and more.
