| | | EOS ART BOOKS, TokyoEOS ArtBooks is an independent bookstore located on the west side of Tokyo. Established in 1992, EOS specializes in books on modern and contemporary art, most of which are imported from western publishers. Because of its emphasis on research materials and scholarly volumes, university libraries and art museums are the store's primary customers. In recent years, EOS has begun to publish its own illustrated art books as well, commissioning essays by leading and emerging critics. EOS also maintains a collection of vintage exhibition catalogues, ephemera and posters from the 1960s and 70s, which it makes available as reference materials for researchers.
