Rémy Markowitsch

Spirit "X-rays" the collection of the Coninx Museum: its digital video centerpiece, Portrait of a Collection recording Werner Coninx's inventory of thousands of artworks and scrolling them before the viewer's eyes at fractions of a second each. R»my Markowitsch was inspired by Connix's storerooms, which he toured with his camera, treating all he saw there equally, from racks of pictures and picture rolls, sculptures and prints to architectural features such as staircases and banisters.
