Artist Farkhondeh Shahroudi (born 1962) sees each of her works as a three-dimensional poem. From deconstructed “Oriental” rugs to guns made of string, her sculptures, installations and performances allude to her revolutionary activities in Iran and her life as an exile in Germany.
