Portuguese multimedia artist André Romão (born 1984) uses poetry, sculpture, installation and video to explore notions of violence, resistance and eroticism, focusing especially on the human body and its often problematic interaction with historical, environmental and economic macrostructures. This book accompanies an exhibition at Museu Coleção Berardo in Lisbon.
