Published by Kerber. Text by Walter Grasskamp. Primarily known as a sculptor, Norbert Prangenberg (born 1949) has created a new series of small-scale paintings. Influenced by his experience with ceramics, the artist uses his fingers, as well as brushstrokes, to shape his brilliantly tactile surfaces. Like all of his work, these paintings emphasize the fundamental relationship between sight and touch, eye and hand.
