This catalogue collects recent works in painting and sculpture by Turkish artist Özcan Kaplan (born 1964). Purely abstract, Kaplans large canvases are explorations in color and gesture, and his sculptural works are three-dimensional continuations of his paintings, such as his stacked towers of dried oil paints, and monochrome gray cement casts of canvases.
