In 2017, the Musée Départemental Matisse in Le Cateau-Cambrésis invited French painter Alain Godon (born 1964) to create work in dialogue with that of Henri Matisse; this volume documents Godon’s response to the theme of travel in Matisse’s oeuvre. A pop-up postcard is included.
