Edited by Philippe van Cauteren. Text by Martin Engler, Tom Trevor, Philippe van Cauteren.
Working since the 1970s, Austrian artist Lois Weinberger (born 1947) uses plants as starting points for public art projects, drawings and films. At Documenta 10, for example, Weinberger planted a disused train platform with fauna from southern and southeastern Europe, as a metaphor for patterns of migration. This 400-page volume surveys his works.
